I began working in the financial services industry with the TSB Bank straight from leaving school at sixteen. After eight successful years, I moved to the Co-Op Insurance Society to further my career as a financial advisor.
After taking a sabbatical from financial services and moving myself and my family to New Zealand to chase a dream of becoming a professional swimming coach, I reached the pinnacle of any coach’s career by coaching at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. I returned to the financial industry as a mortgage advisor and for the last nine years, I have been working for myself as a mortgage and protection advisor forming CFS in 2025.
Over the last ten years, I have built up a wealth of mortgage and protection industry knowledge enabling me to advise clients on buying their first homes, landlords increasing their rental portfolio and importantly ensuring their properties and families are fully protected.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Vicki and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Chip & Dale or you will probably find me with my son Harm at a sporting event, whether that be watching Harm playing for Vale of Lune RUFC or in the stands with Harm watching Stoke City or Warrington Wolves RL. I also enjoy traveling especially to visit my daughter Samantha who moved back to New Zealand in 2023.
